scale- Level-11, Pay Matrix Rs.56100 - 177500 (Pre revised pay band -3 Rs.15600-39100+ GP 6600)
Eligibility-
Officers under the central government /state government /union territory/ autonomous organizations including universities
A)
i) Holding analogues post on regular basis; OR
ii) With Five years regular service in level 10 in the Pay Matrix (Pre revised PB-3, Rs. 15600- 39100 with the GP of Rs 5400/- or equivalent)
iii) with 6 years regular service in levele-8 in the pay matrix
iv) with 7 years regular service in levele-7 in the pay matrix
Qualifications and experience-
i) Master's degree or equivalent deploma in Library and Information Science from a recognised University
ii) 5 years professional experience in a supervisory capacity in a library of standing. .
Desirable-
i) Experience in computerizing library
ii) Professional experience in the specific subjects handed by the ministry to be specified at the time of each recruitment.
